Consultation Information
NOTE: Remember there is a $650 minimum for all wedding cake and groom's cake order. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A CONSULTATION FOR THE SWEET INSPIRATIONS PACKAGES!!!! ONCE YOU HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A CONSULTATION, THE PACKAGE PRICES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
1. We have 11-15 consultations 3 Sundays a month, so it is very important to attend your consultation at your designated time. Many times, brides and their families have to wait a couple weeks just to get in for a consultation. Please keep your scheduled date and time or let us know ahead of time if you need to cancel. Feel free to arrive early to look at displays and enjoy a refreshing beverage.
2. What to expect at the consultation? We will do a tasting and do a complete contract. At the end of the consultation, you will get to take the contract with you, and if you choose my services all you have to do is mail back the signed contract and deposit and your set!!
3. What to bring to the consultation? Be sure to research cakes and bring pics/ideas/thoughts about the kind of cakes and styles that interest you. This will help the consultation process move smoothly. I have consultations scheduled to last no longer than 45 minutes. Of course everyone has questions, and I can clear up any concerns you have!
4. Please try to limit the number of people at the consultation to 4-6 individuals if at all possible. If small children or toddlers are present they must be monitored at all times. Cake displays are very fragile and can be destroyed easily. Thanks for your understanding.
5. Think about your numbers....that includes guests and budget. We will help you determine how much cake you need for your event.

7. Remember that our calendar gets full very fast. It is imperative that if you decide to use our services, you let us know as soon as possible. Please mail in your deposit and a copy of the contract as soon as you make your decision!

9. How much do consultations cost? Consultations are complimentary.
10. What flavors will we taste during the consultation? There will be at least 7 flavors. These flavors are our best sellers and each are excellent choices!
11. After the consultation how long will my date be available? We book our wedding calendar extremely quickly. Your wedding date is not reserved till we have the deposit and a copy of the contract. It is very important to get back to us as soon as possible to reserve your date. We book about 90% of our consultations, so our available dates go very quickly.
12. Do we have to sign a contract when we meet? Absolutely not....you will take the contract with you and be able to discuss it in private amongst yourselves or with families. Some do leave a deposit to secure the date. In any case it is very important to remember that we book extremely quickly and your date might only be available for a short period of time.
